I am creating a Christmas series like the Easter series I did a while back... melding the different pieces of the Christmas story, found in different places in the Bible, into a single continuous narrative. For this one, though, I'm not limiting myself to what is classically defined as the Christmas story... that's just The Blessing! I'm beginning where Christmas really begins, according to the Book of John: "In the beginning was the Word..."
The Beginning: 'eternity past,' creation, the fall, and Jesus' predecessors
The Promise: Scriptures that speak of Jesus' coming
The Prequel: John the Baptist

The Blessing: Jesus arrives
The ones marked with a star * are simple compilations of the Biblical text; the others contain summaries and commentary.
